We are looking for a Small Business Loan Advisor to support applicants through the Start-Up Loan process, helping them develop their business ideas and assess funding applications.

We are looking for a Small Business Loan Advisor to support applicants through the Start-Up Loan process, helping them develop their business ideas and assess funding applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage applicants throughout the Start-Up Loan application process.
- Review business plans, financial forecasts and supporting documentation.
- Assess affordability, cash flow and overall business viability.
- Make funding recommendations in line with credit policies.
- Provide advice and guidance to applicants.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and work towards KPIs and targets.
- Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills and commercial awareness.
- Confident analysing financial information and assessing applications.
- Excellent organisation and time-management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel.
- Experience using CRM systems such as Zoho or Salesforce.
- Self-motivated, target-driven and able to use initiative.
- Experience in business planning, lending, credit assessment or loan approvals is highly desirable.
- Banking, financial services or start-up advisory experience would be advantageous.
