HGV Class 1 Driver (Category C+E) – Powered Access

At Speedy Hire, we're the UK's leading hire provider, and we're looking for an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver (Category C+E) to join our Powered Access team in Tamworth!

What you'll be doing

• Delivering and collecting powered access equipment, including scissor lifts, boom lifts and MEWPs.

• Safely loading, securing and unloading equipment.

• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and ensuring your vehicle is roadworthy.

• Working closely with our depot teams to keep deliveries and collections running smoothly.

• Providing excellent customer service on customer sites.

• Following transport, health and safety and compliance requirements.

What we're looking for

• Full Category C+E (Class 1) driving licence.

• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.

• Experience driving HGV vehicles, ideally transporting plant or heavy equipment.

• Good understanding of load security and safe loading procedures.

• A safety-first approach and great customer service skills.

• A reliable, positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.

Powered Access or plant hire experience would be a real advantage, but we're also keen to hear from experienced HGV drivers with transferable skills!
