At WPS, we're committed to creating safe, secure, and comfortable homes for residents across the UK. As part of our Property Services team, you'll play a key role in maintaining social housing properties, helping customers feel safe and supported in their homes.

We're looking for an experienced Multi Trader with strong Locksmith and UPVC repair experience to join our team in Crawley. While this remains a multi-trade position, the majority of your work will focus on doors, locks, UPVC windows, security repairs, and associated maintenance works.

🔧 What You'll Be Doing

As part of our Responsive Maintenance team, you'll:

• Carry out repairs and maintenance to UPVC doors and windows
• Diagnose and repair faults with locks, hinges, handles, mechanisms, closers, and security fittings
• Complete lock changes, lock upgrades, and emergency security repairs
• Undertake door easing, adjustments, and alignment works
• Carry out a range of minor multi-trade repairs when required
• Work within occupied social housing properties, delivering excellent customer service
• Record completed works and materials used via PDA/mobile technology
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
• Maintain compliance with Health & Safety and Safeguarding procedures

🧰 What We're Looking For

We're keen to hear from candidates who have:

• Proven experience in Locksmithing, Door Maintenance, or UPVC Repairs
• Experience working within social housing, repairs, maintenance, or property services
• Knowledge of multi-point locking systems, door mechanisms, and window hardware
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• The ability to work independently and manage their own workload
• A full UK driving licence

Additional multi-trade experience such as carpentry, basic plumbing, or general repairs would be advantageous.
