QSW (Qualified Social Worker)

Introduction:
We are looking for a proactive and compassionate Children in Need (CIN) Social Worker to join our team. This role focuses on supporting children and families where there are concerns about a child’s development, safety, or well-being, but where the threshold for child protection has not been met. The successful candidate will be committed to early intervention and family-centered practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Undertake assessments and develop CIN plans in partnership with children and their families, ensuring needs are clearly identified and addressed.

• Provide direct support and interventions to children and families to reduce risks and promote positive change, using a strengths-based approach.

• Review and monitor progress regularly, updating plans as needed and escalating concerns where necessary to safeguard the child.

• Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners, including education, health, and early help services, to coordinate support effectively.
