QSW (Qualified Social Worker)

Clackmannanshire Council is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Qualified Social Worker to join our Children and Families team. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and young people across the county. You will be part of a supportive and dynamic service that prioritises relationship-based practice, early intervention, and child-centred approaches in line with the Scottish Getting It Right For Every Child (GIRFEC) framework.

Key Responsibilities:

• Undertake child protection investigations and assessments under relevant Scottish legislation, including the Children (Scotland) Act 1995 and the Children and Young People (Scotland) Act 2014.

• Work in partnership with children, families, and multi-agency colleagues to develop and implement effective care, protection, and permanence plans.

• Prepare high-quality reports for Children’s Hearings and courts, and attend legal and statutory meetings as required.

• Maintain accurate and timely case recordings in accordance with Clackmannanshire Council’s procedures and professional codes of practice.
