Senior DevSecOps Engineer
London | Outside IR35 £480 – £560 per day | Hybrid 2 days per week onsite
An exciting opportunity to join a major greenfield programme focused on building AI-native platforms, modern engineering capabilities, and cloud-native services. This role offers the chance to influence platform architecture, security standards, and engineering best practices from the outset while working on business-critical technology solutions.

The Role and Deliverables

• Design, build, and support secure CI/CD pipelines across cloud-native environments.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Implement security guardrails, governance controls, and compliance standards across Azure platforms.
• Support and optimise Azure cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes environments.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve deployment automation, platform scalability, and security.
• Contribute to the delivery of microservice-based solutions and modern platform engineering capabilities.

Your Skills & Experience

• Strong experience working within DevSecOps, Platform Engineering, or related cloud engineering environments.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Strong expertise in Kubernetes administration and platform support.
• Proven capability designing and supporting CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong Terraform and Infrastructure as Code experience.
• Experience implementing security controls and governance frameworks within enterprise cloud environments.
• Solid understanding of cloud-native architectures and microservices-based solutions.
• Experience working within complex, large-scale engineering programmes.
• Exposure to multi-cloud environments, platform transformation initiatives, or modern engineering platforms is advantageous.
• Experience supporting AI-focused or highly scalable distributed platforms would be beneficial.
