Advanced Practitioner – Assessment Team - Liverpool City Council

Location: Liverpool
Pay/Salary: up to £40 per hour
Office Working: 2-3 Days per week, Office Based for Duty Week (1 in 5)
Contract: Locum, 35 Hours Per Week

We are currently working with Liverpool City Council to find an experienced Social Worker for their Assessment Team within Children’s Services. With a stable management team and a mostly permanent workforce, Liverpool are looking for someone with solid experience to be able to pick up a caseload.

Duties

• Carry out needs led child focused assessments
• Hold a caseload of single assessments (S17) and S47 investigations
• Participate in the duty system, responding to safeguarding concerns
• Prioritise demand and make effective use of time
• Listen and promote the voice of the child
   

What you need

• Social Work Qualification
• Social Work England registration
• Enhanced DBS (provided by us)
