Pay: £14/hr | Contract: Temp → Permanent | Location: Wolverhampton, Birmingham and Walsall, West Midlands

Are you a passionate Children’s Residential Support Worker ready to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable children and young people?

Balfor Recruitment is looking for resilient, caring professionals to support children with Autism, Learning Disabilities, Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD), and complex needs in residential homes.

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years’ experience working with children or young people
• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
• Experience supporting children with challenging behaviour, Autism, or emotional distress

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care and emotional support in line with care plans
• Act as Key Worker, attending reviews and contributing to care planning
• Support children with daily routines, emotional regulation, and behaviour management
• Promote safeguarding, wellbeing, and positive outcomes
• Maintain accurate records and work collaboratively with colleagues and external professionals
