Maintenance Technician

As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll help keep our home safe, comfortable, and well maintained for residents, visitors, and colleagues. Reporting to the Home Manager and Group Maintenance Manager, you’ll carry out day-to-day maintenance, ensure compliance standards are met, support other homes when needed, and take part in an on-call rota to respond to emergencies.

What you'll do

• Experience in painting and decorating (additional trade skills are a plus)
• Confidence maintaining accurate records and compliance documentation
• Willingness to complete training and support fire safety requirements
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with colleagues, contractors, and suppliers
• A cost-conscious approach to purchasing and sourcing materials
• Excellent reliability, attendance, and a proactive mindset
• A commitment to maintaining a safe, compliant, and welcoming environment for residents and colleagues alike
