You'll be working at one of London's most prestigious hotels – the sort of places where the toilets are nicer than your living room and the carpets cost more than your car.

And you'll be the person keeping it all running properly.

Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, none of this night shift nonsense.

WHAT YOU'LL ACTUALLY BE DOING
Look, the job title sounds fancy, but here's what you're really doing:
• General maintenance and handyperson work – if it's broken, you fix it
• Clearing vegetation – yes, even posh hotels get weeds
• PAT Testing – because electrocuting guests is frowned upon
• Small plumbing jobs – dripping taps, minor leaks, that sort of thing
• Door repairs – hinges, locks, handles, the works
• Working alongside other trades – you'll learn new skills, which is brilliant
• Ordering materials and kit – you'll need the right tools for the job
• Filling out worksheets on a mobile app – because we live in the future now

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
• You've done this before – or something very much like it
• You can talk to people properly – guests, managers, contractors. Professional, polite, competent
• You speak English well – conversations need to happen, instructions need to be understood
• You know your trades – you're not a master of one thing, you're decent at many things

• Maintain professionalism and integrity – always. This isn't a building site, it's luxury hospitality

WHO YOU'LL DEAL WITH
Contractors, hotel staff, other FM team members, senior management – basically, lots of people. You'll need to work with them all effectively and keep communication flowing.
