Senior Social Worker

Warwickshire County Council is looking for a meticulous and experienced Locum Form F Assessor to join our Children’s Services team. This specialist role involves conducting detailed Form F assessments for prospective foster carers, providing thorough reports to inform fostering panel decisions. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong assessment skills, excellent report writing abilities, and a sound understanding of fostering regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive Form F assessments of prospective foster carers in line with statutory guidelines and Warwickshire policies.

• Gather and analyse information about carers’ suitability, including interviews, home visits, and references.

• Prepare clear, detailed, and balanced Form F reports for fostering panel and senior management review.

• Liaise with foster carers, social workers, and other professionals to ensure a thorough assessment process.

• Keep accurate records and ensure all documentation complies with statutory and local authority requirements.
