The Team You’ll Join
You'll join the Cycling Weekly team, working closely with the Video Manager and Tech Editor.

What you'll do
Reporting to the Cycling Weekly Tech Editor, you'll be responsible for generating reviews, tech news and features. From road bikes and wheelsets to saddles, groupsets and power meters you'll become one of the world’s foremost experts on the road and gravel bike sector.
You'll be presenting in front of the camera for both long-form and social videos, and keeping your finger on the pulse of the cycling industry and latest releases - noticing a new crankset on Netcompany Ineos’ latest bike or a new curious patent in Shimano’s name. You'll develop strong PR contacts and grasp the latest SEO/GEO and social media content strategies to boost our traffic, authority and audience-share.
What you’ll bring
- Knowledge and experience of content management systems
- Excellent communication skills between both PR and internal contacts
- Ability to clearly and concisely communicate technical information to a diverse readership
- Sub-editing skills
- An understanding of SEO/GEO best practices and the ability to quickly develop these skills
- Photography, videography, video and photo-editing skills
Minimum Requirements
- A passion for riding, and writing and talking about bikes.
- Ability to write high-quality engaging review-based content to strict deadlines
- Experience presenting both short and long form video
- A good understanding of the tech used in road and gravel bikes, and cycling clothing and accessories
What we offer
- Uncapped leave

- Discounted rates with Dental care and Private Medical care
- When we hit our targets, enjoy a share of our profits with a bonus
- Refer a friend scheme - with payment following the successful hire.
- Well-being support with access to our Colleague Assistant Programmes
- Opportunity to purchase shares in Future, with our Share Incentive Plan
- Salary sacrifice Pension scheme up to 5% match
- Free drinks and snacks in our offices
The expected range for this role is £26,500 - £30,000.
