Physiotherapist

University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust is looking for a motivated Band 6 Physiotherapist to join the inpatient team. This role provides the opportunity to work with adults in an acute general medicine setting, delivering high-quality care and developing clinical expertise within a supportive and dynamic multidisciplinary environment.

• Provide physiotherapy assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation for adult inpatients with a wide range of acute general medical conditions.

• Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to deliver coordinated, patient-centred care and support safe and effective discharge planning.

• Contribute to the development and delivery of evidence-based treatment pathways to ensure best practice.

• Supervise, support, and mentor junior physiotherapists, therapy assistants, and students in their clinical practice.

• Engage in ongoing professional development, training, and reflective practice to enhance clinical and leadership skills.

• Participate in audit, service evaluation, and quality improvement projects to support service development within the physiotherapy team.
