About the role

This position offers vibrant and varied corporate work, including:

• Mergers, acquisitions and buyouts
• Corporate restructures and company set-ups
• Shareholders’, members’ and options agreements
• Corporate governance and franchise transactions
• Distribution agreements, IP, and shareholder rights
• Corporate finance and data protection

There’s scope to get involved in business development and help widen the firm’s corporate offering, contributing to client relationships and new opportunities. 

The ideal candidate

• Enjoys advising clients on a broad corporate caseload with confidence and commercial awareness
• Proactive, entrepreneurial and keen to develop new areas of law
• Excellent communicator with a collaborative approach
• Ambitious to take on responsibility and progress into leadership roles
• Open to handling transactional and non-contentious work, with experience in construction, charity or consumer law seen as a plus
• Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with at least 5 years PWE
