Job Role: Support Worker
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- PMVA Trained – Essential
- Minimum 3 years in the country .
- 6 Months as a mental health support worker– Essential
- 2 years of references – Essential
- Experience with children between the age 11-18 – Essential
- Right to work in the UK – Essential
- A Registered DBS (On Update service) – Desirable
- Immunisation (Serology reports of Hep B Antibody- within the last 5 years with titre level, Measles, Rubella, Mumps, Varicella, TB/BCG Scar) – Essential
- A full UK driving license – Essential
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide high-quality care to individuals with complex needs in a safe and secure environment.
- Effectively manage and de-escalate situations involving violence or aggression.
- Administer medications, assist with personal care, and perform other healthcare tasks as required.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and daily activities.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of clients at all times.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience in a similar role working in violent and aggressive environments is essential.
- Must be available on short notice to accommodate changing schedules.
- Flexibility and adaptability to respond to evolving client needs.
- Local candidates preferred.
- A valid driver’s license may be required.
