Consultant Psychiatrist - Community Mental Health Team - BHSCT

Grayscale Medical is recruiting a Consultant Psychiatrist for a locum post within the Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) at Belfast Health and Social Care Trust. This is a 10 PA position available from as soon as possible, initially for 3 months, paying a £100–£110/hr assignment rate.

The Community Mental Health Team at BHSCT provides comprehensive psychiatric care for adults with severe and enduring mental illness across the Belfast catchment area. As a locum Consultant Psychiatrist, you will lead MDT caseload reviews, conduct new patient assessments, supervise junior medical staff, and support the delivery of community-based care pathways. The CMHT works closely with inpatient, crisis resolution, and assertive outreach teams.

Candidates must meet the criteria to work at Consultant level in Psychiatry. All files must be compliant and accompanied by an accurately completed LD1 form before submission.

Requirements: Full GMC registration with a licence to practise, inclusion on the Specialist Register in General Adult Psychiatry, right to work in the UK, valid AccessNI clearance, professional indemnity insurance, occupational health clearance, and at least 2 professional references. Completed LD1 documentation is mandatory.
