Grayscale Medical is seeking an ST4+ Middle Grade doctor with Paediatric Emergency Department experience for a locum post at the Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children (RBHSC), Belfast Health and Social Care Trust. Two start date options: ASAP (immediate) and August 2026. Duration: approximately 3 months. Rate: £60–£70/hr assignment rate.

The RBHSC Paediatric ED is a high-volume, specialist children’s emergency department serving the greater Belfast area and Northern Ireland. The doctor will work on a full shift rota (days, evenings, nights, and weekends) managing paediatric emergency presentations across all age groups. A minimum of 6 months experience in Paediatric ED is essential.

Mandatory online modules required before starting: BMJ Hyponatraemia, Right Patient Right Blood, and Blood Conservation (or equivalent BHSCT e-learning modules). A fully completed LD1 form and full documentation pack are required for all candidates.

Requirements: ST4+ GMC registration with a licence to practise, minimum 6 months Paediatric Emergency Department experience, right to work in the UK, valid AccessNI clearance, professional indemnity insurance, occupational health clearance, safeguarding training, BLS/APLS certificate, and minimum 2 professional references.
