Grayscale Medical is recruiting a Registrar (ST3+) grade locum doctor for Paediatrics at Altnagelvin Hospital, Western Health and Social Care Trust. This assignment offers a £60–£70/hr assignment rate covering 8th July to 3rd August 2026, with possibility of extension.

The successful candidate will provide registrar-level paediatric cover including long days and night shifts across the paediatrics department at Altnagelvin Hospital. The rota includes a mix of long days and nights — specific shifts include Wednesday 8th July (long day), Monday 27th July (long day), Friday 31st July (night), Saturday 1st August (night), and Sunday 2nd August (night). Candidates may apply for the full assignment period or to cover specific shifts.

This is a busy district general hospital serving the North West region. Encompass training is essential and candidates should ideally already be working in Northern Ireland HSC. Only fully compliant doctors who have confirmed availability should be put forward.

The role requires a doctor at ST3+ Registrar level with valid GMC registration and licence to practise, right to work in the UK, up-to-date DBS/AccessNI clearance, and professional indemnity insurance. Minimum 2 professional references required.
