Consultant - Elderly Care
Locum Consultant in Elderly Care required at Antrim Area Hospital, Northern Health and Social Care Trust.
This is a daytime locum position running from August 2026 to November 2026, offering £100.00 per hour.
The successful candidate will provide senior medical cover within the Elderly Care department, managing complex geriatric presentations including falls, delirium, frailty syndromes, and multimorbidity. You will lead ward rounds, support junior doctors, and liaise with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.
Requirements:
- Full GMC registration with licence to practise
- Consultant-level experience in Elderly Care or Geriatric Medicine
- Previous NHS/HSC locum or substantive experience at Consultant grade
- Up-to-date appraisal and revalidation
- Valid DBS/AccessNI clearance
