• Job Title: Healthcare Assistant
• Location: Barnsley, S74
• Pay: £13.75 - £15.50 Per hour + Holiday pay
• Shifts: Part Time Nights | 10pm- 7am | 3 shifts per week

About This Role

We are currently supporting a lovely 8-year-old boy who lives at home with his family in the Barnsley area.

He enjoys playing and exploring with his toys throughout the day and, at bedtime, likes to have his favourite children’s programme playing on his tablet as he settles down to sleep.

This role involves providing dedicated overnight care, ensuring his comfort, safety and clinical needs are met throughout the night.

As he requires ventilation while sleeping, you will be responsible for close and attentive monitoring, responding promptly to his needs and ensuring he remains safe, comfortable and well-supported overnight.

Clinical Experience

Previous experience supporting children with complex healthcare needs is desirable.

Where required, specialist clinical training will be provided by our highly skilled, in-house nursing team.

Essential Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must:

• Have a minimum of 3 months' paid experience working in a professional care setting within the UK.
• Have the right to work in the UK*
• Be committed to delivering safe, compassionate and child-centred care.
• Be willing to complete client-specific, clinical training where required.
