• Healthcare Assistant
• Location: Congleton, CW12
• Pay: £15.00-£18.00 + Holiday pay & Sick pay
• Shifts: Full-time Days | 8am-8pm |

About This Role

We are looking for caring and reliable Healthcare Assistants to support a gentleman with complex care needs in his own home.

You will work as part of a 2:1 care team across all shifts, providing person-centred support to help maintain his comfort, safety and quality of life.

Our client has a spinal cord injury and requires full assistance with his daily care and clinical needs.

Your responsibilities will include personal care, feeding, stoma care, repositioning every two hours and using hoisting equipment safely.

Outside of his care needs, our client enjoys watching birds, reading, documentaries, keeping up with the news, listening to Radio 4 and supporting Newcastle United.

He also enjoys spending time in nature and accessing the community, so supporting him to enjoy his interests will be an important part of your role.

Clinical Experience

Previous experience supporting adults with complex healthcare needs is desirable.

Where required, specialist clinical training will be provided by our highly skilled, in house nursing team.

Essential Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must:

• Have a minimum of 3 months' paid experience working in a professional care setting within the UK.
• Have the right to work in the UK*
• Be committed to delivering safe, compassionate and person-centred care.
• Be willing to complete client-specific, clinical training where required.
