Are you passionate about supporting children with additional needs and helping them reach their full potential?
A welcoming and inclusive primary school in East Wittering is seeking a dedicated Special Needs Assistant to join their team full-time. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a mainstream setting, providing vital support to pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) across a range of year groups.
This role would suit someone with experience in education, care, youth work, support work or anyone with a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
The Role

Supporting pupils with EHCPs across multiple year groups.
Working both 1:1 and with small groups of children.
Helping children access learning and engage positively in the classroom.
Supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, speech and language needs and SEMH.
Building positive relationships with pupils, staff and families.
Assisting with behaviour management and emotional regulation strategies.
Encouraging independence, confidence and social development.
