A welcoming family based in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin is seeking an experienced, qualified and nurturing nanny to care for their two children, born in 2018 and 2024.

The eldest child attends school full-time, so the primary focus will be on the daytime care, development and routine of the toddler, alongside supporting both children with their evening routines.

Position: Full-Time Nanny
Location: Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, French Riviera
Schedule: Weekdays, 12:00–20:00. Weekend coverage to be discussed.
Start Date: As soon as available
Accommodation: Live-out preferred, with live-in accommodation potentially available.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will provide attentive, high-quality care for the toddler, planning age-appropriate activities to encourage their development and supporting daily routines, including meals and naps. Responsibilities will also include occasional school pick-ups, preparing healthy meals and snacks for both children, assisting with evening routines and maintaining an organised, clean and child-friendly environment. Children’s laundry and general nursery duties will form part of the role.

The nanny will work closely with the parents to ensure a consistent and harmonious routine, providing a warm, stimulating and secure environment for both children.

Candidate Profile

The family is seeking a professional nanny with a recognised childcare qualification, such as CAP Petite Enfance, an NVQ, Norland diploma or equivalent. Candidates must have proven experience caring for infants and toddlers within private households, supported by excellent references.

Fluency in both English and French is essential. Current Paediatric First Aid certification is required, and additional paediatric healthcare training would be advantageous.

The ideal candidate will be warm, proactive, organised and discreet, with a genuine passion for early childhood development and the ability to work collaboratively with the family. A clean background check and the appropriate right to work in France are essential.

Salary & Accommodation

A competitive salary will be offered, commensurate with experience, qualifications and the agreed live-in or live-out arrangement.

A full-time live-out arrangement is preferred, with the candidate organising their own local accommodation. However, a private bedroom and private bathroom may be available for a suitable candidate if required.
