We’re working with an established fashion and retail business in Cheshire that’s looking to strengthen its digital marketing team with an experienced Paid Search Manager.

THE PAID SEARCH MANAGER ROLE

As Paid Search Manager, you’ll be responsible for developing, managing and optimising paid search activity to drive traffic, conversions and revenue across the business.

You’ll take a hands-on approach to campaign performance, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, maximise return on ad spend and support wider eCommerce growth.

Key responsibilities include:

• Manage and optimise Google Ads campaigns across Search, Shopping and Performance Max
• Develop Paid Search strategies focused on customer acquisition, revenue and ROAS
• Monitor campaign budgets, bidding strategies and overall performance
• Analyse campaign data using GA4 and Google Ads to identify opportunities for improvement
• Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis and ongoing campaign testing
• Work closely with wider marketing and eCommerce teams to align campaigns with commercial objectives
• Produce regular performance reports with clear insights and recommendations

PAID SEARCH MANAGER ESSENTIAL SKILLS

• Proven experience managing Paid Search campaigns, ideally within eCommerce or retail
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Google Ads, including Shopping and Performance Max
• Experience managing budgets and optimising campaigns against commercial KPIs
• Good understanding of GA4, conversion tracking and attribution
• Confident analysing data and translating insights into actionable improvements
• Knowledge of Google Merchant Center and product feed optimisation
• Commercial mindset with a strong focus on ROAS, conversions and revenue growth
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of campaign performance
