About the role
Our client is a digital bank that is looking for a Head of Data Engineering to get involved in the very early stages of a greenfield project.
In this role, you’ll lead and mentor a data engineering team to design, develop, and implement data platforms, pipelines, and infrastructure for their multi-cloud product. You’ll also design and develop scalable, cost-effective, and secure distributed architectures and solutions that comply with relevant data security and regulations. You’ll also design, implement, and maintain data pipelines that efficiently collect, process, and store large volumes of data from various sources, ensuring data quality and integrity.
In terms of stack, you’ll mainly use: Java, Kotlin, Python, AWS and GCP, Kafka, Pub/Sub, Spark, Dataflow, PostgreSQL, MySQL, BigQuery, Redshift, GraphQL, Kubernetes, Github Actions and ArgoCD.
