Finance Director

Exclusive Opportunity – Finance Director – Nottinghamshire – £100k + Car + Bonus

Delighted to be partnering exclusively with a highly profitable manufacturing SME in Nottinghamshire to appoint its next Finance Director.

Reporting directly to the MD, this is a hands-on leadership role offering the opportunity to take ownership of the finance function, influence board-level decisions and drive improvements in profitability, gross margin and cash conversion.

Leading a finance team of five, you will oversee financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, cash and treasury, tax, audit and financial controls. Working closely with the MD and wider leadership team, you will provide commercial insight, support operational efficiencies and help shape the ongoing success of the business.

The Ideal Candidate

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).

• Senior finance leadership experience within an SME manufacturing or similarly operational business.

• Strong commercial acumen, with experience in product costing, margin improvement and cash management.

• Proven ability to lead a finance team, improve processes and influence senior stakeholders.

• A hands-on, pragmatic approach, combining strong financial control with commercial business partnering.
