Full Time Nanny/Housekeeper, Clapham, London

A delightful family of four based in Clapham are seeking an experienced full-time live-out Nanny Housekeeper to care for their two daughters, aged 2 and 7, and help ensure the smooth running of their household.
The position is to start early September, Monday to Friday, from 7:30am to 7:00pm, with some downtime during the day while the children are at school and nursery. No driving is required, and there are no pets in the household. The family would welcome a nanny who is happy to travel with them, primarily within Europe, including destinations such as Spain and France. Proxy parenting will also be required from time to time.
The role combines childcare and housekeeping responsibilities. During school and nursery hours, duties will focus on maintaining a clean, organised, and well-run home, including extensive cleaning, laundry, tidying, shopping, and running household errands. Childcare responsibilities will include school and nursery drop-offs and pick-ups, accompanying the children to activities and playdates, supporting their after-school and evening routines, and providing a warm, nurturing, and stimulating environment where they can relax and thrive after their busy days.
Very little cooking is involved, as the mother enjoys cooking for the family. The family’s previous housekeeper remained with them for 10 years, which speaks volumes about how well they treat and value the people who work in their home. The ideal candidate will be proactive, reliable, mature, and highly motivated, with strong experience in a similar Nanny Housekeeper role and a proven track record of longevity in previous positions.
A salary of £20 gross per hour is offered, which annualised is approx. £60,000. This is a sole-charge position, offering a fantastic opportunity to join a busy, down-to-earth family who enjoy healthy food, sports, and leading an active lifestyle.
