Temporary Daily Maternity Nanny needed immediately in Essex

A lovely family is seeking an experienced Daily Nanny or Newborn Care Specialist to provide immediate support with their one-month-old baby.
As first-time parents, they are looking for a warm, knowledgeable, and confident professional to provide compassionate, hands-on support during the day. Mum is currently recovering following the birth and would greatly benefit from additional rest, while baby is doing well. The family are combination feeding and are seeking someone who can offer both practical assistance and reassurance as they settle into family life.
The ideal candidate will have extensive newborn experience and be confident in providing evidence-based guidance on feeding techniques, safe sleep practices in line with NHS and The Lullaby Trust recommendations, and supporting the family in establishing a gentle, responsive routine that suits their baby’s individual needs.
This is a solely baby-focused role. Although there is an older child, their care is not part of the position. Responsibilities will include all nursery duties, planning age-appropriate developmental activities, and supporting the baby’s ongoing growth and development in a nurturing environment.
The family is looking for someone with a calm, caring, and supportive nature who can bring confidence, experience, and reassurance during these precious early weeks.

Contract End: 3 weeks (End of August)
Location: Clacton on Sea, Essex
Gross hourly Rate: £18ph gross max
Hours of work: 9am -9pm
Nights required: 5-6 days per week
Specialist or expert required: Qualified Maternity Practitioner
Minimum experience Level for this job: 5yrs experience within the role
Details of any qualifications needed for this job: 12hr First Aid, Enhanced DBS, Maternity Practitioner (L3 minimum), Safeguarding L2.
