We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Site Manager to join the team on an exciting residential project in Chertsey, Surrey. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a well-planned development and gain exposure to all aspects of site management while working alongside an experienced Site Manager.

The Role

As Assistant Site Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day management of the construction site, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to the highest standards of quality.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting with the management of subcontractors and trades on site
• Monitoring health and safety compliance across the development
• Supporting quality inspections and ensuring work is completed to specification
• Helping drive build programmes and achieve key project milestones
• Managing snagging and plot completions
• Assisting with customer care and handover processes
• Maintaining site records and reporting progress to the Site Manager

Requirements

• Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager within residential construction
• Timber frame construction experience is essential
• Strong understanding of NHBC standards and build quality
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• SMSTS or SSSTS, First Aid and CSCS Card preferred
• A proactive attitude and desire to progress within a successful business
