Friendly 2 days a week nanny near Gheluvelt Park, Worcester

A warm, friendly and energetic family in Worcester are looking for a nurturing nanny to join them
from September, caring for their delightful one-year-old boy two days a week. This is a lovely
opportunity for someone who enjoys supporting early development through play, routine and
fun. The nanny will take the lead on the child’s daily routine during these days, creating a fun
and engaging environment.
The family live in a fantastic location, with plenty of local amenities and outdoor spaces within
walking distance, perfect for local outings and fresh air. Their little boy has an established
routine, particularly around sleep, and they would value someone who can continue to support
this in a positive and consistent way as he grows and develops. From December, he will begin
attending nursery for two additional days, so an understanding approach to balancing his needs
will be appreciated during this transition and beyond.
The role also includes light household duties related to the child, such as keeping his spaces
and family areas tidy and clean, along with preparing simple, family-friendly meals for everyone
to enjoy together. Additional duties include supporting everyday household tasks such as
laundry, clearing away after meals and helping to maintain a smoothly run home. The family
enjoy an outdoorsy lifestyle and would love a nanny who shares this. There is also the option for
additional babysitting or occasional weekend hours on an ad hoc basis, if desired.
Location of the job: Barbourne, Worcester, Worcestershire
Hours of work: 7:15am – 6:15pm
Days required: Wednesday and Thursday
Pets in the home: one labrador daily walking, feeding and care required.
Job Start Date: 2nd September 2026
Pay: £17,160 gross per annum (£15 gross per hour)
