MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE ENGINEERJob Title: Mechanical Maintenance EngineerLocation: DoncasterSalary: £35,000 – £38,000 + BonusShift: DaysI’m working with a family-run British manufacturer looking to recruit a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team.You’ll be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance across production machinery, with a strong focus on mechanical fault finding, diagnostics, bearings, gearboxes, pumps, motors, hydraulics and pneumatics. You’ll also support general engineering maintenance to keep production running efficiently.The role will also involve getting involved in a variety of exciting engineering projects, including machinery upgrades, installations, improvements and wider site development initiatives.This is a great opportunity to join an established, family-run British manufacturer offering a days-based role with no weekend work, a supportive working environment and plenty of ongoing projects to get involved in.Sector – ManufacturerNon-Negotiable Requirements of the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Mechanical maintenance experience.Mechanical fault-finding skills.Experience with PPM and reactive maintenance.Engineering qualification. Requirements for the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Health & Safety conscious with a proactive approach.Experience working within a production or manufacturing environment.Good problem-solving and communication skills.Able to work independently and as part of a team. Desirable Requirements for the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Experience working with hydraulics and pneumatics systems.Experience with pumps, gearboxes, bearings and other mechanical components.Continuous improvement or engineering project experience.
