Design Coordinator – Manufacturing & Joinery | Location: Basildon, Essex
Salary: £46,000 to £51,000 per annum DOE
Job Type: Permanent, Full-time
Noble Recruiting is seeking an experienced Design Coordinator to join a modern, growing manufacturing company based in Basildon, Essex. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled AutoCAD professional with experience in manufacturing, joinery or production design to coordinate technical drawings and support projects from initial design through to production.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce detailed AutoCAD 2D manufacturing and joinery drawings.
- Work closely with estimators, bid teams and project managers.
- Coordinate design requirements, budgets and project deadlines.
- Attend design meetings and conduct site surveys when required.
- Identify and communicate design changes and potential project challenges.
- Ensure accurate and timely handover of production drawings.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience using AutoCAD 2D to a high level of accuracy.
- Experience in manufacturing, joinery or technical production design.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Knowledge of Autodesk Inventor or Revit would be advantageous.
- Confident working with internal teams, contractors and site managers.
