Metal Fabricator – Manufacturing & Engineering Location: Basildon, Essex
Salary: £38,675 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Job Type: Permanent, Full-time

Noble Recruiting is seeking an experienced Metal Fabricator to join an established manufacturing and engineering company based in Basildon, Essex. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled fabricator to work on a variety of metalwork projects, using specialist machinery and fabrication equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Cut, fold, shape and finish metal components to specification.
• Operate press brakes, turret mills, lathes and guillotines.
• Carry out fettling, grinding and polishing of metalwork.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.
• Use hand tools, power tools and fabrication equipment.
• Ensure finished products meet quality and safety standards.

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience as a Metal Fabricator, Sheet Metal Worker or Engineering Fabricator.
• Recent experience in a similar manufacturing or fabrication environment.
• Confident operating metalworking machinery and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Competent using hand tools and power tools.
• Full UK driving licence and own transport desirable but not essential.
