Senior Fire & Security Engineer

Location: Southern England

An established and growing fire and security systems business is seeking an experienced Senior Fire & Security Engineer with a strong electrical background to join its team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong engineer to combine hands-on engineering with team leadership, mentoring and technical support across a range of commercial fire and security systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, commission, service and maintain fire and security systems.

• Diagnose and resolve complex technical faults.

• Lead, support and mentor engineers, identifying training and development needs.

• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and procedures.

• Deliver excellent customer service and maintain strong client relationships.

Systems Include

• Fire alarms and emergency lighting.

• CCTV and surveillance.

• Access control and intruder alarms.

• Integrated electronic security systems.

• Fire extinguishers and associated fire safety solutions.

About You

• Proven experience in fire and security engineering.

• Strong electrical knowledge and technical fault-finding skills.

• Experience supporting or mentoring engineers.

• Good understanding of relevant industry standards and regulations.

• Excellent communication, organisational and customer service skills.

• A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and lead by example.
