  • Support students with a range of additional needs, which may include autism, ADHD, learning difficulties and social, emotional and mental health needs.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and the wider SEND team to implement individual support strategies.
  • Promote positive behaviour, emotional regulation and student engagement.
  • Encourage students to develop confidence, independence and essential life skills.
  • Help create a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
  • Monitor student progress and communicate any concerns or achievements to the relevant school staff.
  • Follow individual education plans, behaviour support strategies and school policies.
  • Uphold safeguarding procedures and promote the welfare of all students

  • Can build strong, trusting relationships with students and staff.
  • Is confident supporting students with challenging behaviour and emotional regulation where required.
  • Demonstrates resilience, professionalism and excellent communication skills.
  • Can work effectively as part of a team while also using their own initiative.
  • Is committed to promoting inclusion, independence and equal opportunities for all students.
