Previous experience working with children, particularly those with Special Educational Needs (SEN), is desirable, although candidates with transferable skills and the right attitude are encouraged to apply.

  • Providing 1:1 support for a pupil with ADHD within a Year 2 classroom
  • Working with small groups and individual pupils to support learning and raise attainment
  • Contributing to a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
  • Supporting the delivery of targeted interventions and classroom activities
  • Collaborating with teaching staff to identify and address gaps in learning
  • Monitoring progress and adapting support strategies to meet the pupil’s evolving needs

About the School

The school has a strong reputation for its supportive ethos and commitment to ensuring all pupils receive the support they need to succeed.

Key benefits include:

  • Small class sizes and personalised support for pupils
  • A friendly, experienced, and supportive staff team
  • A strong commitment to inclusion and celebrating individual strengths
  • Excellent pastoral care and a focus on pupils’ overall wellbeing
  • Opportunities for professional development and career progression
