Commercial Litigation Solicitor

A highly regarded, top 150 law firm is looking to appoint a Commercial Litigation Solicitor to join its established and growing disputes team based in Wigan.

This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with civil or commercial litigation experience who is looking to develop their career within a supportive and collaborative environment, handling a broad and varied caseload with strong progression opportunities.

You will manage a diverse caseload of civil and commercial litigation matters, with a particular focus on property-related disputes. The role offers excellent exposure to high-quality work, client interaction, and advocacy opportunities, alongside hybrid working following onboarding.

This includes but is not limited to:

• Managing a varied caseload of commercial and civil litigation matters, including property disputes
  • Drafting pleadings, court documentation and legal correspondence
  • Preparing matters for court, including liaising with Counsel and ensuring compliance with court deadlines
  • Representing clients at hearings where appropriate
  • Managing files in line with SRA regulations and internal compliance procedures
  • Supporting business development initiatives and identifying cross-referral opportunities

  The Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Solicitor with 0–2 years PQE, although candidates with additional experience will also be considered
  • Experience managing your own civil and/or commercial litigation caseload
  • Strong knowledge of litigation procedure and relevant law

  Desirable Experience

• Experience handling property litigation matters

Salary up to 50k DOE.
