Housing Litigation Paralegal

Miller Grace Recruitment are currently working with a highly regarded national law firm that is looking to recruit a Housing Litigation Paralegal to join its growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with Housing Disrepair experience who is looking to further develop their career within a supportive and progressive firm. The successful candidate will work closely with experienced solicitors on a high-volume caseload involving housing disrepair matters, supporting social housing clients including housing associations, local authorities and charity landlords.

The firm is well known for investing in its people, with a strong focus on progression and promoting Paralegals internally into more senior positions over time.

The Role

• Managing a high-volume caseload of pre-issue Housing Disrepair files
• Supporting solicitors with housing litigation matters from pre-action stage through to litigation
• Drafting legal and court documents under supervision
• Liaising with courts, counsel, experts and clients
• Assisting with settlements, billing and reporting
• Managing case files and maintaining accurate time recording

About You

• Minimum 6 months’ experience within Housing Disrepair as a Paralegal
• Experience handling a high-volume pre-issue caseload
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Confident written and verbal communication skills
• IT literate and comfortable using case management systems
