Business Analyst

We are partnering with a well established London Market insurance broker to recruit a Business Analyst into their growing Operations function. This is an excellent opportunity for an early career analyst to build a strong foundation in business analysis and project delivery within a supportive, collaborative team.

The Role

You will support the delivery of change initiatives across the business, combining core business analysis with project support responsibilities. Key duties include:

• Gathering and documenting business requirements through workshops and stakeholder interviews
• Mapping current and future state processes
• Writing user stories and supporting user acceptance testing
• Maintaining project plans, RAID logs and action trackers
• Preparing status reports and governance packs for project and steering meetings
• Coordinating meetings, taking minutes and following up on actions

About You

• Some experience in a business analysis, PMO or project support role, ideally within insurance or financial services
• Exposure to the London Market or broking would be an advantage, though is not essential
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to engage stakeholders at all levels
• Highly organised, with excellent attention to detail
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and Visio, with familiarity with Jira or Confluence a plus
• Eager to learn and develop a career in change and transformation
