Textile Packer – Grangemouth – £12.71 Per Hour

People Solutions are currently recruiting for Textile Packers to join our client based within Grangemouth Dockyard, on a temporary contract running from 26 October to 18 December 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering £12.71 per hour, weekly pay, consistent Monday to Friday working hours, an early Friday finish and Saturday overtime opportunities.

This position is ideal for applicants who have previously worked as a Packer, Packing Operative, Warehouse Operative, Stock Assistant, Retail Assistant or Office Administrator and are confident using computer systems.

Important: This position is based within Grangemouth Dockyard, and candidates must have valid photographic ID to meet site access requirements.

Shifts

 • Monday to Thursday: 7:00am – 4:00pm
 • Friday: 7:00am – 1:00pm
 • Saturday overtime available: 7:00am – 12:00pm
 • Temporary contract: 26 October – 18 December 2026

Rates of Pay

 • £12.71 per hour
 • Weekly pay
 • Saturday overtime available

Day-to-Day Duties

As a Textile Packer, your duties will include:

 • Packing textile items according to the required size and height specifications
 • Labelling items accurately
 • Packing items into crates and totes
 • Using computer systems to record and process information
 • Checking items for accuracy and ensuring packing requirements are followed
 • Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised working area
 • Following all site health and safety procedures

Essential Skills

To be successful as a Textile Packer, you will need:

 • Good computer skills and confidence using computer systems
 • Strong attention to detail
 • Ability to follow instructions and packing requirements accurately
 • Reliable and organised approach to work
 • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
 • Valid photographic ID for access to Grangemouth Dockyard
 • Availability for the temporary contract from 26 October to 18 December 2026

Desirable Experience

 • Previous experience working in an office, retail or similar environment
 • Previous packing, stock handling or warehouse experience

Training Provided

 • Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment
