 Rate: £350/day (Up to £400/day for exceptional candidates)
 Contract Length: 6-month rolling contract
 Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week

Our client in Wigan is seeking a Senior Estates Surveyor to join their team on a 6-month rolling contract. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead on high-value property disposals, acquisitions, valuations, and asset management—helping shape the borough’s future.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the disposal and acquisition of land and property assets.
• Manage the Council’s let estate and support strategic asset planning.
• Deliver accurate asset valuations for financial reporting and planning.
• Identify development and rationalisation opportunities across the portfolio.
• Liaise with tenants, stakeholders, internal departments, and consultants to deliver effective estates solutions.

What We’re Looking For:

• The ideal candidate will be MRICS qualified (or equivalent – happy to consider candidate who aren’t MRICS), with solid public or private sector experience.
• Strong knowledge of property law, valuation, disposals, and estate management.
• Confident communicator and report writer, with experience advising senior stakeholders.
• Able to manage complex portfolios and drive service improvements.
