7.5 T Driver

Amour Recruitment are currently recruiting reliable and professional 7.5 Tonne Drivers to join a busy, well-established logistics operation in the Portsmouth area.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:

• Completing scheduled collections and deliveries safely and efficiently.

• Loading and unloading goods at customer premises and depot locations.

• Carrying out vehicle safety checks before and after journeys.

• Using handheld devices to update delivery and collection information.

• Completing relevant paperwork and maintaining accurate delivery records.

• Communicating with the transport team to ensure deliveries run smoothly.

• Providing a professional and courteous service to customers.

• Following all relevant road safety and drivers’ hours regulations.

Pay & Working Hours

• £15.00 per hour standard rate.

• Monday to Friday working pattern.

• Ongoing work available.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

• A valid UK driving licence with Category C1 (7.5-tonne) entitlement.

• A valid Driver CPC qualification.

• A valid Digital Tachograph Card.

• A reliable, professional and safety-conscious approach.

• Good communication and customer service skills.

• The ability to undertake regular manual handling and loading/unloading duties.

• A good understanding of drivers’ hours and road transport regulations.
