HGV Driver

Premier Placement Services are currently recruiting experienced and reliable HGV Drivers for a 6 – week fixed term contract working on behalf of our client in Rochdale.   

Pay & Working Hours 

• Pay Rate: £17.50 ph plus holiday pay (Equivalent to £19.68 ph) 
• Shift Pattern: Day Shifts 
• Start times: 3am – 7 am 
• Guaranteed Hours: 12 Hours per day.   
• Contract Length: 6 weeks  

Your duties will include:

• Driving an HGV safely and responsibly. 
• Completing vehicle safety checks before and after journeys.
• Ensuring compliance with drivers’,tachograph regulations and road traffic legislation
• Completing all required paperwork and reporting any vehicle defects
• Maintaining a professional and reliable approach at all times 
• Deliver and unload goods with some handball at all times   

You will require 

• A current HGV class 1 Licence along with a valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card. 
• At least 2 years driving experience. 
• A strong commitment to safety , reliability and professionalism.
• No IN, DD, DR endorsements on licence
