About the role
We are recruiting for a Claims Data Analytics Lead on behalf of an extremely well-regarded London Market Insurer.
The Claims Data Analytics Lead will deliver analytics and insights to drive continuous improvement across claims operations, ensuring regulatory, portfolio and operational reporting is accurate and delivered within required timelines.
Key Responsibilities
The Claims Data Analytics Lead will deliver analytics and insights to drive continuous improvement across claims operations, ensuring regulatory, portfolio and operational reporting is accurate and delivered within required timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing the claims data and analytics strategy.
- Developing analytical data products and outputs to monitor and report on Key Performance Indicators for UK Claims.
- Contributing to the delivery of MI and Analytics change priorities to meet UK Claims priorities.
- Developing self-service reporting tools to support management information delivery, improve productivity and drive real-time business decisions.
- Supporting the education and skills of others within UK Claims, promoting a data-first mindset and advanced data literacy within claims portfolio management.
- Developing and maintaining stakeholder relationships across UK Claims and other functions.
- Producing regular statistical and analytical claims information for Portfolio and Risk Managers and Senior Management to enable effective claims monitoring.
- In depth
experience of working in data and analytical environment.
- Extensive and
relevant knowledge of the demands of an analytically focused role.
- Extensive
experience of working with and extracting data from systems and analytical
tools.
- Experience
working in Financial services industry would be advantageous.
- Understanding of technical claims handling is desirable.
- Proficient in
data visualisation tools (Tableau, Power BI).
- Proficient in
MS Excel and working knowledge of SQL.
- Knowledge of
Python would be advantageous.
