St Mary’s Hare Park School is a vibrant, nurturing independent primary school seeking a passionate, committed and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated Early Years team. 

About this Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Level 3 qualified EYFS practitioner (or equivalent) to join our Early Years provision, supporting children aged 2 to 5 within a high-quality, full-year setting.

At St Mary’s Hare Park School, we are looking for a caring and proactive individual who is passionate about supporting children’s social, emotional and early academic development, and who understands the importance of routines, relationships and play-based learning in the early years. 

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is highly motivated, positive and enthusiastic
  • Has high expectations for all children, including our youngest learners
  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of early child development (ages 2–5)
  • Can create a warm, nurturing and stimulating environment 
  • Supports children’s independence, curiosity and love of learning 
  • Is committed to raising standards and achieving excellence for all pupils
  • Works effectively as part of a collaborative team 
  • Is organised, proactive and adaptable, particularly within a full-year provision 
  • Has strong communication skills with colleagues, parents and pupils
  • Can demonstrate positive behaviour management appropriate to early years
