Platform Engineer

Platform Engineer job in London – DOE

Omnea is scaling fast, deploying multiple times a day and supporting enterprise customers that rely on secure, high-availability cloud infrastructure. They’re now looking for Platform Engineers to help evolve the infrastructure, tooling, and developer experience powering their next phase of growth.

You’ll join an experienced platform team working across AWS serverless infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, observability, and internal developer tooling, helping engineers ship faster, safer, and more reliably at scale.

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing and scaling AWS serverless infrastructure using Lambda, DynamoDB, Aurora, and EventBridge
• Building and improving CI/CD pipelines, deployment tooling, and Infrastructure-as-Code workflows
• Developing monitoring, alerting, and observability systems using Datadog
• Automating internal processes and improving developer experience across engineering teams
• Contributing production-ready TypeScript code across infrastructure and platform tooling
• Supporting scalability, multi-region availability, and reliability improvements as the business grows

What they’re looking for:

• Strong Platform Engineering or DevOps experience within cloud-native SaaS environments
• Deep AWS knowledge including serverless architecture and cloud networking
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure-as-Code, and developer tooling
• Strong coding ability with TypeScript or similar languages
• Experience improving observability, automation, and engineering workflows
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills within collaborative engineering teams

Nice-to-have experience includes:

• Pulumi or similar IaC frameworks
• Datadog monitoring and observability tooling
• Internal developer platform tooling
• Open-source infrastructure or developer tooling contributions
