Hexwired Recruitment is partnering with an organisation based in Manchester that is looking to fill a User Experience Designer job in Manchester. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to several high-profile projects across sectors including finance, energy, and secure government environments.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced UX professional who enjoys solving complex problems and creating intuitive digital experiences. Working alongside product teams, engineers, and end users, you will help shape user journeys from initial discovery through to delivery while contributing to an agile and collaborative working environment.
The RoleAs a User Experience Designer, you will be responsible for understanding user requirements, conducting research activities, and transforming insights into effective and engaging digital experiences. You will play a key role in ensuring user-centred design principles are embedded throughout the product development process.
Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, you will create wireframes, prototypes, and design concepts while continuously refining solutions based on user feedback and testing outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Promote and advocate user-centred design principles across multiple projects.
- Facilitate workshops and support user research initiatives to gather insights and requirements.
- Design wireframes, prototypes, and interactive concepts using tools such as Figma.
- Translate user requirements into clear, intuitive, and practical design solutions.
- Evaluate designs through testing and feedback, making improvements where necessary.
- Work closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
- Contribute to a collaborative and agile development environment focused on delivering high-quality user experiences.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in UX design and experience working within digital or technical environments.
Essential requirements include:
- Previous commercial experience in User Experience (UX) Design.
- Strong understanding of user-centred design methodologies and best practices.
- Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma.
- Ability to communicate ideas and present design concepts effectively to stakeholders.
- Experience solving complex user problems and working within evolving or ambiguous requirements.
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
