Data Engineer job in London – DOE

We’re working with an exciting company that is investing heavily in its data platform and looking for a Data Engineer to join a high-performing team focused on scalability, reliability, and developer productivity.

In this role, you’ll help build and maintain resilient data pipelines, support analytics and ML feature stores, and contribute to the architecture that powers business intelligence and decision-making.

Key responsibilities include:

• Building and scaling ELT pipelines on GCP and BigQuery
• Writing production-grade Python using DLT
• Developing low-latency ML feature pipelines
• Owning monitoring, alerting, and operational reliability
• Collaborating with analytics, BI, and AI/ML teams
• Mentoring junior engineers and influencing platform decisions

We’re looking for engineers with:

• Strong experience building and operating data pipelines at scale
• Excellent Python and SQL skills
• Experience with modern data stack architectures
• Knowledge of BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift or similar platforms
• Exposure to Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform
• A solid understanding of DevOps principles and observability
