Joseph Gallagher Group is a leading Civil Engineering and Infrastructure Contractor delivering major projects throughout the UK. We are currently seeking a Lifting Equipment Inspector / Storesperson to join our team at our Specialist Plant Associates offices/yard in Hinwick.

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with experience handling and inspecting lifting equipment who is looking to join a well-established and growing business.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out inspections of lifting equipment and accessories in line with company procedures.

• Maintain accurate records of equipment inspections and certification.

• Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management.

• Liaise with site teams and operational staff regarding equipment requirements.

• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience working with lifting equipment is essential.

• Experience inspecting lifting equipment and lifting accessories.

• Good understanding of lifting operations and relevant safety standards.

• Basic to intermediate IT skills, including the use of Microsoft Office and equipment tracking systems.

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Full UK Driving Licence preferred.
