Then we would like to hear from you….

Hethersett Woodside Primary and Nursery School are delighted to be able to appoint a committed, enthusiastic, positive Teaching Assistant with SEND expertise and interest.

Hethersett Woodside has recently grown to full primary status, from its roots as a small infant school. Having recently moved into a brand new, state of the art building, the school has been gradually growing for a number of years and now is at capacity; with children from Nursery to year 6.

This is a rare opportunity to join our fabulous, child focused team.

We would like to appoint a Teaching Assistant who has an interest in supporting pupils with additional needs; across Key stage 1 or 2; working with both individuals and groups of learners.

We encourage applications from candidates who:

  • are keen to support embedding our School Values: Respect, Resilience, Responsibility
  • have a passion for working with children with SEND
  • have recent SEND training, or a willingness to complete training
  • enjoy working as a team
  • are committed with very high standards of learning and behaviour
  • are well organised and able to use initiative
  • have good levels of written english and maths
  • have a sense of humour and positive outlook

Experience of supporting SEND learners would be an advantage, but is not essential as training and support will be given.

We encourage you to come and meet our Senco, visit our school for an opportunity to look around and talk to us about your passion and desire to join us.

Visits can be arranged by contacting Emma Allenden (Office Manager) in the school office: office@hethersettwoodside.org.uk or [phone removed]

We look forward to meeting you and showing you Wonderful Woodside!
